Terms of Service

By accessing or using Hunchi at https://hunchi.app(the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or mislead others
• Post illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, or harmful content
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without permission
• Interfere with the Service or use automated access abusively
• Manipulate predictions, scores, rankings, or GitHub integrations

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Hunchi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, modify for formatting, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, and promote the Service.

You are responsible for projects, round questions, descriptions, predictions, posts, comments, images, links, and other content you submit. You must have the rights needed to submit that content.

We may remove content or restrict accounts when we believe content violates these Terms, infringes rights, creates legal risk, or harms the Service or other users.

Hunchi lets users make YES/NO predictions about project milestones for entertainment, community engagement, and reputation tracking. Hunchi is not gambling, betting, a financial product, investment advice, or a contest with cash prizes.

Scores, tiers, rankings, prediction results, and related statistics have no cash value and cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, redeemed, withdrawn, exchanged, or converted into money or anything of monetary value.

Hunchi does not currently offer paid subscriptions, purchases, deposits, cash rewards, payouts, refunds, or withdrawals. If paid features are introduced later, the applicable terms will be updated.

Builders are responsible for creating clear project rounds and reporting accurate outcomes. Hunchi may close, void, archive, remove, correct, or adjust projects, rounds, predictions, scores, rankings, or feed items when needed to enforce rules, fix errors, prevent abuse, or protect the integrity of the Service.

If you connect a GitHub repository, you authorize Hunchi to receive and display repository and commit metadata needed for the connected project. You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to connect the repository and display related information.

The Service, including its original software, design, branding, features, and functionality, is owned by Hunchi or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use Hunchi branding without prior written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the Service, or used the Service in a harmful or unlawful way. You may stop using the Service at any time.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any prediction, score, ranking, GitHub event, or project information will be accurate or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hunchi and its affiliates, operators, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
